A brief history of the Union Pacific Mankato and Worthington Subdivisions:

06/26/21

Located north of Worthington, this small through girder bridge crosses Okabena Creek.
Built in approximately 1910 to replace a wooden bridge, this structure consists of a single through girder span. This span is set onto concrete abutments.
Bridges like this are exceptionally common on railroads, particularly for small spans.
Overall, this bridge appears to be in fair condition. A close inspection was not conducted.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be found alongside MN-60.
